“As you wish.” Most people found it shocking that I had never seen “The Princess Bride” before last year. I can see why. It’s a fun fable with witty humor, endearing performances, and an adventure unlike any other. Rob Reiner found himself back in the Movie of the Year hunt (having won last year’s with “When Harry Met Sally…”), but this feature unfortunately didn’t obtain the crown. Regardless, it’s a classic. One that everyone young and old should certainly find entertaining (and quotable).
