APRIL MOVIE RANKINGS:
The reviews are in and now it is time to rank them! Who will be last? Who will be first? Read on to find out which movie is April 2014’s Movie of the Month!!!!:

April 1

#7- “Homefront”
73%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Good story and good action.
Cons: There is a lot of cussing, the acting isn’t that great, and it felt like something was missing.

#6- “12 Years a Slave”
78%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Good story, good acting, and good interpretation of slavery.
Cons: It didn’t seem to have the potential to win best screenplay at the Oscars, there was nudity, violence, and it dragged throughout the movie.

April 2

#5- “Thor: The Dark World”
79%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Good story, great acting, great action, and great special effects.
Cons: Jane Foster is being put in way too much in the story (more than Thor himself) and it felt like it could have been better for a Disney Marvel movie.

#4- “Captain America: The First Avenger”
81%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Good story, good acting, great action, good villain, and great special effects.
Cons: In some ways it dragged and it made Captain America look for like a figure-head than a super soldier hero.

April 3

#3- “Tropic Thunder”
83%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Good story, good acting, very funny, great special effects, and great action scenes.
Cons: It got raunchy in parts, there was a good amount of bad language, and there are uses of drugs in it.

#2- “The Green Hornet”
85%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great story, good acting, great special effects, cool take on a super hero, and great action scenes.
Cons: Some parts felt kinda long and it seemed to drag in the movie.

April 4

#1- “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”
91%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great story, great acting, great special effects, great action scenes, great villain, and awesome sequel.
Cons: I forgot to watch the bonus scenes in the credits and the movie did seem long reaching almost 3 hours.

Well there you have it! “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” will go up against “The Pursuit of Happyness”, “Zombieland”, “300” and the rest of the Movie of the Months in January 2015 to decide which movie will ultimately become Movie of the Year for 2014!!!!!!!
