March Movie Rankings

MARCH MOVIE RANKINGS: The time has come to decide a winner for the month of March 2014! There are six movies in total, but only one can be movie of the month. I am sorry for posting this late, but I had some internet difficulties to get this through. So anyway, here are the March movie rankings of 2014:

March 1

#6- “Frozen”
65%= Burnt Popcorn
Pros: Great animation, good voice acting, and a good movie for the family.
Cons: There are too many songs and too many holes in the storyline making me feel as though they haven’t covered everything in the movie when it comes to details.

#5- “Charlie St. Cloud”
83%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Good story, good acting, and good setting.
Cons: The movie did seem short (not like I wanted it to not end) and there were some parts in the movie that seemed like it could never happen in real life.

March 2

#4- “Gravity”
84%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Good acting, good story, and spectacular special effects.
Cons: Even though it has great special effects, the explosive crashing of objects and debris made it confusing to watch and there were some parts where I couldn’t hear the dialogue in the movie because it was said through space suits.

#3- “All is Lost”
85%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great special effects, great acting, and good story.
Cons: The movie seemed to drag in some areas and at times I wish there was some actual dialogue in the movie.

March 3

#2- “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”
86%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great story, great special effects, good acting.
Cons: There were some parts that seem too far-fetched in the movie and in parts of the movie, it seemed to dragged. I also never read the books so I don’t have a good say in whether they referred to the books well.

March 4

#1- “300”
90%= Juicy Popcorn
Pros: Great story, great special effects, great acting, and has awesome quotes to repeat from in it.
Cons: There is a lot of violence in this movie and there is even a scene where half of a woman’s body is seen naked. Those are the things to watch out for if anyone is wondering if they should let a kid watch it or not.

There you have it then! That wraps up the second March movie rankings with “300” coming out on top! It will go off against “The Pursuit of Happyness”, “Zombieland”, and the rest of the months at the end of the year to decide which movie has what it takes to become Movie of the Year for 2014!!!!
