“The Lone Ranger”

MOVIE THEATRE REVIEW: Since all the little ones are out and my momma was at work, it was basically guys night with me, my bro, and papa. And on this night we decided to catch “The Lone Ranger” which stars Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland), Armie Hammer (The Social Network, Mirror Mirror), William Fichtner (The Dark Knight, Armageddon), Tom Wilkinson (Batman Begins, Michael Clayton), and Ruth Wilson (Anna Karenina, Capturing Mary), Based off of the radio broadcast and TV show with the same name, this is the story about a man named John (Hammer) who takes out crime in the west with the help of his trusty Indian sidekick Tonto (Depp) under the name the Lone Ranger. But in this movie, the story is a bit different from the original. When sent out in an expedition soon to be a trap, John, his brother, and other rangers are all killed out in the middle of nowhere being betrayed by one of their deputies. When Tonto stumbles upon the bodies, he decides to bury them. Then out of nowhere, a spirit horse comes by and chooses John to be the chosen one or soon to be called “spirit walker” to fight crime in the west. I really enjoyed the move and even my papa liked it having watched reruns of the original series when he was little. Don’t listen to what the critics and some people said of how it was a bomb and go! I guarantee you guys will like it!! 87%= Juicy Popcorn
