7TH PLACE
“The Banshees of Inisherin” feels like a personal piece from Martin McDonagh. Its comically sad tale of a man distancing himself from his best friend (on the grounds of him just not liking the other person anymore) is deeply moving, even though it is spoken in thick Irish accent/verbiage. A slow burn touting grand performances from Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, this is a small feature to behold. The more I think on it, the more I enjoy it. Definitely something worth experiencing.
