BEST ACTOR WINNER

There are few categories that prove difficult to choose a winner in year after year; Best Actor is one of them. Through much delegation and back-and-forth, I landed on Jesse Eisenberg in the performance that put him on the map. His role as Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network” is phenomenal. Calculated, precise, and cold, all conveyed through a furrowed brow. Admittedly, Eisenberg had a huge advantage, having been given dialogue from the master screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. But it’s what he did with that excellently written language that propelled him to great heights. Congratulations, Jesse!
