Michelle Williams. Michelle Freaking Williams. My goodness. She’s definitely one of the best working today, and her role as Mitzi Fabelman is the crowning jewel of Steven Spielberg’s semi-autobiographical feature. Mitzi is something else; a broken ball of light and energy. And Williams owns it from beginning to end, offering many moments that stick with you in heartbreaking fashion. Great job.
