11TH PLACE:

Adam Sandler blew me away in the Safdie Brothers’ latest film, “Uncut Gems.” The movie is a non-stop thrill ride that begs for bouts of anxiety. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire picture, particularly because of Sandler’s character, Howard, who cannot quit getting himself into tough situations. Alas, the feature places 11th in this run, as this race grows tighter and tighter.
