BEST ACTRESS WINNER:

As I have voiced before, the actor and Movie of the Year categories are the most difficult to decide a winner on. It came down to the wire, per usual, with the decision coming in last minute. I did what the Oscars couldn’t: award Scarlett Johansson for her role of Nicole Barber in 2019’s “Marriage Story.” Her performance was raw, genuine, and held great gravitas in orchestrating the dialogue and capturing my attention. I’ve always admired her skillset in acting, and I believe this to be one of the (if not the) best roles she has embodied. Kudos to her for taking the gold on this site.
