BEST ORIGINAL SCORE WINNER:

The amount of times I have listened to Randy Newman’s score of “Marriage Story” (2019) are endless. Truly endless. It’s become one of my favorite scores of all time, as I have found myself playing it when writing or focusing throughout the day. While it certainly sounds like some of his other work (Newman has a unique style), the contrast of such beautiful music to a depressing story makes it all the more better of a score. A fairly easy victory for this one.
