BEST ANIMATED FILM WINNER:

It was a fairly easy decision, considering how small the nominee list was, but also just how good of a movie “Soul” turned out to be. Pete Docter and crew came together to craft something special; one of Pixar’s best in recent memory. The animation still astounds, the voice acting fantastic, and the story one of their deepest. Sure, it’s simple and has been done before, but that doesn’t lessen its value. “Soul” resonates strongly with me, making it a shoe-in for this award.
