“The Pilgrim’s Progress” (2019) is our first candidate eliminated. Not really a shocker. Though it won Movie of the Year for April, it was the only feature reviewed. The themes within the film are fine and the heart is there, though the execution and handling of it are questionable and, at times, sluggish.
