IN THE ACTOR’S SPOTLIGHT WITH JACK NICHOLSON: RESULTS
Compared to the four films I have already reviewed with Nicholson in them, these pictures were kind of a disappointment; at least when the marathon started. The latter two movies are recommendable, but the first two were more so enjoyable for the performances (“Missouri Breaks” certainly has one of the best twosomes). Nicholson has proven himself to be a phenomenal actor. Though he often plays a different version of himself in his features, it’s hard to deny that he owns every scene he is in. I’ve enjoyed watching his evolution as an actor, going from the early 70’s to the early 00’s with this marathon, getting better and better with each film (his role as Schmidt is arguably one of his best). Overall, I was thrilled to participate in this, and wish you all to give the actor a shot when you see a title with his name in it.
