4th Place:
“Isle of Dogs,” while not Wes Anderson’s best film in his gamut of projects, was a wonderful stop-motion picture to watch last year. It definitely stood out amongst the pack of sequels, reboots, and super hero flicks, with its marvalous style/design, great voice acting, and original concept. It’s unfortunate that it couldn’t proceed in this ceremony, but the remaining films beat it to the punch.
The triple threat remains. Who will take the gold?
