9th Place:

Such an elegant yet impactful film, “Darkest Hour” (2017) deserved the Oscar for Best Picture when competing against the other nominees. Gary Oldman was phenomenal, the cinematography was sleek, and the story was solid. However, this race is far more stout than what was in last year’s Oscar race, as “Darkest Hour” scores 9th place on the road to Movie of the Year.
