BEST VISUAL EFFECTS WINNER:

It was tough to decide what film had the best visual effects, I’m not going to lie. And while there are some selected movies who utilized CGI far more than others, I was specifically looking for the best use; which, in turn, led me to “Blade Runner 2049.” The cinematography alone makes for a visceral experience, but the visual effects were absolutely stunning, creating a world that looked raw and real, even though we know it’s just a film.
