BEST MUSICAL SCORE/SOUNDTRACK WINNER:

FREEDOM!!! When the Oscars rolled around back in the 90’s and “Braveheart” was nominated in many categories, it soon took home the award for Best Musical Score; and James Horner deserved it. I flat-out loved the score to this feature and have listened to it countless times. It’s folksy, fantastical beats mixed in with Scottish rhythms breathed life into the store, and made for epic scenes.
