BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR WINNER:

I didn’t post the winner to this award yesterday because I was in deep thought. So deep that I had to watch clips of these actors’ performances to make a decision. What it came down to is the ever-amazing Hugo Weaving in his role of Tom Doss for “Hacksaw Ridge.” Sure, the film didn’t boast the top aesthetics or even get into any category in this award show so far, but Weaving’s role is a sure bet. He did terrific, absorbing his character and turning in a performance that was edgy and powerful. Congrats, Weaving.
