WORST ACTRESS WINNER:
“The Happening” gave us some wonderful performances, and Zooey Deschanel honors her peers with the coveted award of Worst Actress. For a typically entertaining performer, Deschanel’s entry in this was flat and completely faceless (along with everyone else). On top of that, it was hilariously bad.

It’s hard to think it’s coming up to the tenth anniversary of The Happening, truth be told, the film had some interesting ideas… Particularly the casting of Deschanel & Wahlberg.
It really is. The casting choices weren’t terrible, if the actors had good material to read from. No one can really understand the mind of M. Night Shyamalan.
