BEST ACTRESS WINNER:

Ripley was the representation of bada** in “Aliens.” Maybe it was the direction, maybe it was the action in the moment. However, I think that it was Sigourney Weaver’s performance that flung her into the hearts of sci-fi lovers everywhere with her awesome role as Ripley in this sequel. She had the grit, the tenacity, and fought on a level that I respected in a leading action female.
