BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS WINNER:

Reese Witherspoon deserved her Oscar, back when this film was nominated. I haven’t seen the real June Carter perform, let alone a documentary of the Cash family, but Witherspoon captured realism in the character of June. I believed her, and enjoyed her presence on the screen as she was very alluring.
