Juicy Reviews Milestone: The Road to the 200th Review

200th review 3

Since the first review in March 2013 and the dawn of this site, I have watched and reviewed several movies. There have been several Juicy Popcorn movies, but there were also quite a bit of Burnt Popcorn ones. It didn’t feel that long ago since I reviewed my first bad movie (“The Dinosaur Project”) way back when. My reviewing style has evolved over time, growing wiser and more experienced in this sort of thing. One thing that comes to my head in terms of regrets is how I haven’t put up a milestone marker for my 100th review. At the time, I didn’t realize to put one up, let alone know what my 100th review was until it was too late. But, now I have the opportunity to do just that with this milestone that includes the latest 200th review! Below I have made a timeline starting from the very first review to the 200th review, counting by fifties:

200th review 1

Now I will put in detail of those movies below:

“Robot & Frank”
Reviewed: March 1st, 2013
Rating: 83%= Juicy Popcorn
My first review. What began as an average Friday Movie Night turned into a reviewing opportunity. This movie was both interesting and charming, being a hidden gem of the film industry.

“Now You See Me”

Rating: 88%= Juicy Popcorn
This movie was definitely a puzzling one. It offered a very unique way of storytelling with magic tricks that will mess with your mind. What’s better is that they actually explain how they pull of the tricks.

“Edge of Tomorrow”
Reviewed: June 14th, 2014
Rating: 91%= Juicy Popcorn
I never realized that this was my 100th review until it was too late. I’m sure glad it was though because this movie was fantastic. With the great action sequences and killer story, this makes a great Tom Cruise flick for everyone!

“X-Men: Days of Future Past”
Reviewed: November 14th, 2014
Rating: 89%= Juicy Popcorn
Even though I haven’t seen an X-Men movie before this one, I was still able to understand what was going on. It had a great superhero feel to it and it was gritty, making it an awesome film to watch.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron”
Reviewed: May 5th, 2015
Rating:  92%=Juicy Popcorn
The ultimate 200th review. With awesome fight scenes and amazing characters, this is a film that Odin would be pleased of.

This has been a fantastic journey so far and I can’t wait for more movies to review. Hopefully I can still be doing this in time to get to a 1,000th review (a kid can dream). I thank all of the support I have gotten for putting up this site in the first place. All of you are the true heart of this reviewing site!
