BEST ACTRESS WINNER:

This one wasn’t really that difficult of a choice. Usually when it comes to lead female roles, the characters are hidden behind their male counterparts, having the main actor steal the show. But, in “Edge of Tomorrow,” Emily Blunt kept her spot and proved that she was capable to perform an action role. I have never seen her in this type of role before and she did a fantastic job, giving me a great sense that I can depend on both Tom Cruise’s character as well as hers.
