BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS WINNER:

This was a difficult award to give to seeing how all of these women performed fantastically their movies. But, this award falls upon Jennifer Connelly as Alicia Nash in “A Beautiful Mind.” From the moment she appeared in the movie until the end she gave a fantastic (or should I say, “beautiful”) performance. She provided the audience with realism, changing her personality as time went on from natural, nice girl to being weary and having angst because of John Nash’s mind all the while still showing care and love towards him. She won an Oscar for her performance and she definitely deserves this award.
