FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIE REVIEW: On yet another Friday night, I saw the movie “Non-Stop” which stars Liam Neeson (The Lego Movie, Taken), Julianne Moore (The Big Lebowski, Magnolia), Scoot McNairy (Argo, 12 Years a Slave), Michelle Dockery (Hanna, Downtown Abbey), Nate Parker (Red Tails, Arbitrage), Corey Stoll (The Bourne Legacy, Midnight in Paris), Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave), Omar Metwally (Rendition, Munich), Jason Butler Harner (Next, The Changeling), and Linus Roache (Batman Begins, The Chronicles of Riddick). In this movie we follow a U.S. air marshal named Bill Marks(Neeson), who was a former police officer, that is a heavy alcoholic due to his daughter death. He gets on a plane to London to do his job and everything seems to go as normal as usual. That is until he gets a text from an unknown source telling him that someone will die on the plane every twenty minutes until he gets 150 million dollars sent to an offshore account. Now it is up to Bill to locate the person, who by the way is a passenger on the plane, and take them down before they kill someone. I thought that this movie was surprisingly good, with me not having high expectations going to watch it. The story was good, having a great concept, the acting was good, it played out very well with the mystery, the special effects were great with what was given, and it had great action scenes. The cons of this movie would be how some of the things that happen in the movie seem impossible to happen, but other than that this movie is good overall and I recommend anyone to see it! FINAL SCORE: 85%= Juicy Popcorn
