BEST SCREENPLAY NOMINEES:
1. “Inception”
Why it’s a nominee?- It’s a dream, inside a dream, inside a dream, inside a dream. Inception is nothing like I’ve ever seen before with going inside someone’s head to plant ideas going into further dreams inside dreams! It’s crazy.
2. “In Time”
Why it’s a nominee?- Time is money, literally. An economy based on time than cash is a great idea with having to race to work or to a bank to get more time just to stay alive. Awesome concept.
3. “Pleasantville”
Why it’s a nominee?- Everything is pleasant inside the black-and-white Mayberry-like TV town. Showing things are more than normal and bland in color than black-and-white in a town where everything is right is a great, original, plot in which I’ve never seen before.
4. “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”
Why it’s a nominee?- He works at Life Magazine, but doesn’t really have a life of his own. This movie following a man to do something in his life more than just working and sleeping is a very inspirational, warm-hearted story.
