BEST ACTOR WINNER:

It’s always easy to give the best performance award to someone in heavy make-up/prosthetics, but it wouldn’t have mattered for John Hurt. His portrayal of John Merrick is heartbreaking; one that will leave you destroyed after watching. Though I have not seen any of his other work to compare, it is safe to say that this man deserves the Best Actor title.
