BEST VISUAL EFFECTS WINNER:

Now don’t go and think that visual effects means CGI on my site. Because I don’t want to have two separate categories for CGI and practical effects, I combined them, and who exhibited the best of both worlds? “Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens.” Sure, being the newest film of the nominees could have helped it, but compared to all others, this movie was stunning on the effects level. It was a visual spectacle that brought me back to the world of Star Wars and it was a great welcoming. Several shots contained beautiful graphics and I love how not all of it was CGI, but rather actual robots and practical effects.
