Why it’s a nominee?- The falling off the bridge, the turning hallways, the explosions, the destruction of dream worlds, all here in this movie. Fantastic effects were put into this movie and it is stunning to watch these effects into play in this movie every time it is watched!

2. “Man of Steel”
Why it’s a nominee?- The fight scenes, the fortress of solitude scene, the boat scene, the destruction of Krypton, the explosions. This movie is action-packed with all too worthy effects to show all these action scenes into place!

3. “Life of Pi”
Why it’s a nominee?- Beautiful. The effects in this movie flowed like water. The whale scene, the sinking of the ship, the glowing lights, the island, and how the scenes displayed so much magic in how great the picture looked!

4. “Oz the Great and Powerful”
Why it’s a nominee?- Just to show how well this movie did in effects, all of it was pretty much done in front of a green screen! All the buildings, the mountains, the landscapes, the action scenes, and the floating bubbles were all digitally made making this movie eye candy.
