FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIE REVIEW: On Friday, I got to see a movie that I wanted to see for a while called “The Pursuit of Happyness” which stars Will Smith (Men in Black, I am Legend), Jaden Smith (The Karate Kid, After Earth), Thandie Newton (Norbit, Mission Impossible: II), Brian Howe (Catch Me If You Can, Gran Torino), James Karen (All My Children, Mulholland Drive), Dan Castellaneta (The Simpsons, Super 8), Kurt Fuller (Midnight in Paris, Anger Management), and Takayo Fischer (Moneyball, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End). Yet another Smith acted movie that I review, but this one did far better than “After Earth.” Based on a true story, this movie follows Chris Gardner (Will Smith) and his struggling times to get by in life after investing in a device called a “Bone Density Scanner” that turns into a flop with him not being able to sell as many as he wanted. Through the movie, Chris goes through many challenges with his wife leaving him, going broke, losing his house, his bank account, and credit cards. He then sees a light at the end of the tunnel when he learns of stock. He gets into an internship to become a stock broker giving him no pay so he has to try to sell all of his devices to be able to even feed him and his son Christopher (Jaden Smith) which doesn’t even know what is going on. Everything that he does, it is for the good of his son and to get them a better life. I really enjoyed this movie with the story being really great especially some famous lines in the movie. The acting was great too and I really liked what Will Smith did for this movie. It was a sad movie though, but that only means that they did a great job of putting emotion into the movie! I recommend this movie to anyone who hasn’t seen it!!! FINAL SCORE: 87%= Juicy Popcorn

Sounds good, have to add to my to-see list. Helpful review, thanks.
