BEST ACTOR NOMINEES:

1. Bruce Willis as David Dunn (“Unbreakable”)
Why he’s a nominee?- Without the story and the acting in this movie, all of it would be just complete boring dialogue. I give props to Bruce Willis’s performance as David Dunn in this movie because he made the character who he is.

2. Tom Hanks as Captain Phillips (“Captain Phillips”)
Why he’s a nominee?- Tom Hanks played an awesome role delivering so much stress and anxiety to the character in trying to reason with the pirates in the whole movie that I feared the pirates as much as he did! Well done!!

3. Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby (“The Great Gatsby”)
Why he’s a nominee?- DiCaprio brought on the warm and niceness of a friend that is Gatsby in this movie, but he also brought out a darker side within Gatsby, for example the hot hotel room scene, that made his performance even better!

4. Ben Stiller as Walter Mitty (“The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”)
Why he’s a nominee?- Ben Stiller made so much of this movie as he was the director of it too. His funniness, charisma, and kindness brought out this character so much in this movie.
