FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIE REVIEW: Last night, I got to see this movie again since it is a tradition to watch it before Christmas so here is the review for “Eight Crazy Nights” which stars Adam Sandler (Grown Ups, Big Daddy), Jackie Sandler (Hotel Transylvania, Just Go with It), Austin Scout (Matilda, Richie Rich’s Christmas Wish), Kevin Nealon (Happy Gilmore, Glenn Martin DDS), Rob Schneider (50 First Dates, Deuce Bigalow), Norm Crosby (The Dean Martin Comedy Hour, Grown Ups 2), and Jon Lovitz (Big, The Benchwarmers). This animated holiday movie is about a trouble-maker named Davy Stone (Sandler) who gets sentenced to the state penitentiary by the judge (Crosby) of a town called Dukesberry for all of his wrong doings of the town. But instead of heading right to the penitentiary, a weird, old, short man with strange feet named Whitey Duvall (Sandler) offers to take Davy under his wing to hopefully change his heart from the stone that it is by helping him coach the youth basketball team. After Whitey takes him in, it becomes a very funny and terrible journey for the both of them from crazy deer to a creepy Chinese man (Schneider). I’ve always enjoyed this movie since the first time I saw it because of the animation, the story, the jokes, and the characters. Even the songs in this movie were good to listen to because of how funny they were. I especially enjoy watching Whitey’s seizures (it’s not that wrong to say, right?) and Eleanor’s (Sandler), Whitey’s sister, wigs. A downside to this movie though is it can get raunchy in parts so I would suggest for children not to see it. I would recommend this to anyone, except little children, to watch this for fun and laughs. FINAL SCORE: 84%= Juicy Popcorn
