FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIE REVIEW: Last night I got to see the movie “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” starring Martin Freeman (Sherlock, The Pirates! Band of Misfits), Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings, X-Men), Elijah Wood (Lord of the Rings, Happy Feet), and Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings, Rise of the Planet of the Apes). I have never seen or read any “Lord of the Rings” stuff so I thought I would be lost, but luckily this movie is supposed to be a prequel to the “Lord of the Rings.” The movie follows a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who shares his tale of how Gandalf and the few remaining dwarfs of the Lonely Mountain come to him in need of a burglar to help them on their quest to take back the dwarf’s home after the dragon, Smaug, destroyed it and took it of its own a long time ago. I thought that it was a good movie even though I’ve never seen any “Lord of the Rings” and I think that any person who loves “Lord of the Rings” or has never seen any of it would enjoy it. FINAL SCORE: 85%= Juicy Popcorn
